I am honored to serve as the principal at Carl T. Widén Elementary. I feel very fortunate to be part of a community that supports our students and families. We have extremely dedicated staff and supportive school community ready to serve all students.
Prior to becoming the principal, I served 4th grade as a Dual Language teacher. Also, I taught Robotics and coding during summer enrichment camp for several years. For the past three years, I served as the proud assistant principal at Linder Elementary. I am thrilled to utilize my experience as an educational leader Carl T. Widén Elementary and work in collaboration with our families and community to ensure your child’s success. Every moment and experience that we provide our students is an opportunity to create meaningful and authentic learning. My goal is lead with love and create a safe and welcoming environment to provide endless opportunities for ALL students.
As a proud AISD product, I look forward to working with ALL students. My family and I are excited for this amazing opportunity. We have two beautiful daughters in AISD. As a bilingual educator and advocate, I strive to build positive relationships with all students, parents, colleagues, and the community. I believe in the importance of effective, authentic, and meaningful instruction for all learners. Me siento honrado de servir como director de la escuela primaria Carl T. Widén. Me siento muy afortunado de ser parte de una comunidad que apoya a nuestros estudiantes y familias. Contamos con un personal dedicado y una comunidad escolar solidaria lista para servir a todos los estudiantes.
Antes de ser director, trabajé en cuarto grado como maestro de lenguaje dual. Además, enseñé robótica y codificación durante el campamento de enriquecimiento de verano durante varios años. Durante los últimos tres años, me desempeñé como la orgulloso subdirector de la Escuela Primaria Linder. Estoy encantado de utilizar mi experiencia como líder educativo de Carl. T Widén Elementary y trabajar en colaboración con nuestras familias y la comunidad para asegurar el éxito de su hijo/a. Cada momento y experiencia que brindamos a nuestros estudiantes es una oportunidad para crear un aprendizaje significativo y auténtico. Mi objetivo es liderar con amor y crear un ambiente seguro y brindar oportunidades para TODOS los estudiantes.
Como un orgulloso producto de AISD, espero trabajar con TODOS los estudiantes. Mi familia y yo estamos emocionados por esta increíble oportunidad. Tenemos dos hermosas hijas en AISD. Como educador bilingüe y defensor, me esfuerzo por construir relaciones positivas con todos los estudiantes, padres, colegas y la comunidad. Creo en la importancia de una instrucción efectiva, auténtica y significativa para todos los estudiantes.
